INTAKE SPECIALIST:
Job description
Our expanding law firm is needing an experienced Intake Specialist to join our team. We offer competitive pay commensurate with experience and a benefits package that includes health insurance, 401K with company match and paid time off.
The person in this position will have the following job responsibilities and personal skills:
Responsibilities
- Answering any and all incoming calls to include after hours
- Screen incoming leads via phone or internet and set appointments for qualified potential clients.
- Evaluate prospective client's claim, explain the process, answer questions and sign up new clients
- Meet with clients in person for sign-up when needed.
- Open claims with various insurance companies
- Draft and send out Letters of Representation
- Upload new client paperwork to clients file on firm’s database
- Order and/or obtain police reports
- Data Entry - Maintain and update files in case management program (Needles)
- Assist with the creation of new matters on the firm’s database
Skills
- Individuals must have a MINIMUM of 12 months' experience handling intake for a personal injury law firm.
- Familiar with case management software, preferably Needles.
- Proficient in Outlook, Excel and Word
- Proficient in Customer Service and professional verbal and written communication
- Possess excellent organization skills and be able to electronically process client information and documents in a consistent and timely manner.
- Position requires the ability to quickly make a strong empathetic connection with a potential client and follow up per firm procedures until client is transitioned to the handling case manager or attorney.
- Some college or university education is preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish

CASE MANAGER:
We are seeking a case manager with integrity and experience that can bring extensive knowledge of all aspects of personal injury. You will be required to "hit the ground running" and manage a large case docket with minimum training and supervision.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years experience at a plaintiffs' personal injury law firm
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills on the phone, in person, and email
- Bilingual/Biliterate in Spanish
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Case Management software (Needles preferred)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent time management, multi-tasking, and critical thinking abilities
- Professional member and team player
- High school diploma or GED; college degree a plus
Key Responsibilities
- Effectively manage a caseload of 100-200 cases
- Continuous communication with clients and medical providers
- Proactively address liability issues and draft liability, PIP, UIM and demand letters
- Accurately maintain case management data
- Negotiate settlements
- Maintain the highest level of discretion and confidentiality
